    Michael's twenty year career in the arts spans a wide and diverse array of experiences. He began as a musical theatre performer in his late teens before attending Liberty University for a general degree in music. He subsequently attended Florida State University and the University of Illinois where he studied with leading baritone, Nathan Gunn. An Actor's Equity Member, Michael has performed many roles including Tony in West Side Story, The Baker in Into The Woods, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Sid in Albert Herring, the title role in Don Giovanni and Gaston in Beauty and the Beast with the Walt Disney Company. He has written and produced a successful one man show called 'Heroes and Villains' which he tours. Michael has appeared as a singer and actor for many commercials, recorded projects and concerts, most notably with the Nashville Chamber Singers and as the baritone soloist for Michael Dougherty's Letters From Lincoln.

     

    Michael has taught voice and directed theatre productions for several colleges including Rollins College, Seminole State College and the University of Illinois to name a few. His directing credits include shows such as The Light In The Piazza, Sondheim's Company, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Magic Flute and Berlioz's Beatrice et Benedict. Michael also founded the Program for Lyric Theatre in Italy, a summer language immersion program for singers which teaches students the skills of marketing, business, and performance techniques . His acting students have landed national TV and film jobs while many of his classical voice students have found international success. Michael is on the board of several arts organizations for whom he is always searching for new talent.     Yvonne Gonzales Redman

    Opera Singer, Big 10 Professor, Pedagogue.

    Yvonne Gonzales Redman has a B.M. in vocal performance from Stephen F Austin State University. After graduation, she participated in the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist program as an apprentice and has since enjoyed an 18-year career as a main stage soprano at the Metropolitan Opera including 199 onstage performances as a principal soloist, including 26 live radio and television broadcasts. Highlights include Zerlina in Don Giovanni (James Levine, conductor); Giannetta in L'Elisir d'Amore (with Luciano Pavarotti for his 30th anniversary gala); Jouvenot in Adrianna Lecouvreur (in Mirella Freni's final performances of this work); and in Parsifal with Placido Domingo, to name only a few highlights of her career. She is a grand prize winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council competition and the Eleanor McCullum Houston Grand Opera competition.

    Ms. Redman has performed at the Santa Fe Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Seattle Opera, Minnesota Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Wolf Trap, Opera Illinois, and the Houston Grand Opera, where she sang the world premiere of Daniel Catan's Florencia en el Amazones. She was featured in the role of Mimi in La Boheme in the Bregenz Festival in Austria.

    She has shared the stage with some of the greatest operatic artists, including Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Samuel Ramey, Nathan Gunn, Bryn Terfel, Teresa Stratas, Renee Fleming, Frederica von Stade, Susan Graham, Carol Vaness, Dawn Upshaw, Denise Graves, Paul Groves, Ben Heppner, Jerry Hadley, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Rene Pape, and Thomas Hampson. Conductors with whom she has collaborated include James Levine, James Conlon (Music Director of Ravinia, among other titles), Sir Charles Mackerras, Leonard Slatkin, Richard Bonynge, and Murry Sidlin.

    Jennifer East

    Jennifer East is a seasoned professional and mother of four who specializes in acting for film, print production, and social media marketing. Experience as a commercial talent agent, graphic designer, photographer, actor, writer, instructor, and on-set art director has given her an acute eye for detail and strong work ethic. She has been creative director for various companies such as Bellevue College, Amerec, Inc., American Gentleman Magazine and ACT Magazine. In the past twenty years, she has provided creative support (graphic design, photography, animation and illustration support) for United Space Alliance (USA) for the Aries IX Rocket and the NASA Space, just to name a few of her clients. She is a noted visionary who excels in conceptual ideas and design, full scale design, graphic design, illustration, photography, photo editing, web design, social media promotions and marketing. Her work in front of and behind the camera has taken her to nearly every LA backlot, from Universal to Sony. Ms. East also is experienced in managing the careers of child actors having overseen the budding professional career of her daughter who currently performs in China with one of the largest entertainment companies in the world. Ms. East has worked on multiple projects with several film production companies in both Florida and CA and knows all aspects of the casting process. She has a great understanding of photography and has created headshots in both Los Angeles and in Florida with 25,000 images of performers of all ages to her credit. Additionally, Ms. East has been around the world as a model, modeling consultant and runway choreographer.

    Nicholas Urda

    Nicholas Urda is a New York based actor who works in film, television, stage and voice-overs. He has appeared on the big screen in White Irish Drinkers and Audition, which is scheduled for release later this year. On the stage, where he has spent the bulk of his time, Nick’s credits include: Valentine in The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Shakespeare on the Sound); the off-B’way premiere of The Preacher and The Shrink at The Beckett at Theatre Row; Billy Witch (APAC); Costa Rehab (MTWorks); Brutus in Julius Caesar (Curious Frog); The Real Thing and The Shrew Tamer (Northern Stage); Private Lives (Two River Theatre); Othello, starring Patrick Page and Avery Brooks, Comedy of Errors, Don Juan, The Persians, and Loves Labour’s Lost (Shakespeare Theatre Co, DC); Loves Labour’s Lost (Royal Shakespeare Co). This past fall he played the famed poet Federico García Lorca in Olives and Blood at Connecticut Repertory Theater and was nominated for a Broadway World, Ct award! He has also written a feature length script titled Closing the Deal as well as the upcoming web-series Tactics with co-writer, Matthew McGoldrick.

    Alana Urda

    Alana Marie Urda has worked as a professional choreographer and teaching artist in NYC for over 10 years in a variety of programs including New York City Center, The Trinity School, The West Side YMCA and Bridge for Dance Studios. With a BFA in dance from FSU, Alana is Assistant Director of The Trinity School After School Program and is Choreographer for the West Side YMCA’s Professional Kids Company and The Events in Orlando, FL. Alana is also Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Amalgamate Dance Company, Inc. (ADC) where she has envisioned and produced a range of distinguished dance events, charity projects, and educational workshops. Her work has been celebrated in renowned venues including Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Series, Boston University, Sant’Angelo in Vado Italy, BBKings, The Times Center, Ailey Citigroup, and Merce Cunningham Studio and tours both nationally and internationally. She is an Artist in Residence at Bridge for Dance and a grant recipient of the Mertz Gilmore Foundation. Her extensive freelance highlights include choreographing for Lily Chiam’s debut album concert in Asia and Off-Broadway productions, Dear Mr. Rosan / Cherry Pit Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof Jr / The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater and Angels, the Musical / Duke Theatre. She has worked with artists such as Peter Kalivas, Ronnie Demarco, Suzanne Farrell, Dan Wagoner, and Jawole Zollar.

    LaDawn Taylor

    Stage Actor, Singer, Character Performer.

    Based in Hong Kong, China.

     

    LaDawn Taylor grew up in Houston, Texas and was bitten by the acting bug after participating in the Disney College program as an intern. Inspired by a production of the Lion King, LaDawn pursued a BFA degree in arts with an emphasis in acting and directing from Sam Houston University. She was then hired again by Disney to appear as its first African-American princess in the parks at Walt Disney Resort, in print media and in televised specials. And while LaDawn loved the times she got to meet with guests from all over the world, her real dream was to sing, which lead her to roles such as Aida in Elton John's production of the same name, Lorraine in All Shook Up, The Musical, Joanne in Rent, and Shug Avery in The Color Purple. It was her experience as Princess Tiana however, that would take her around the world to appear in the opening of Mickey' and the Wondrous Book at Hong Kong Disneyland and eventually to the role of Nala in Festival of the Lion King. Today, LaDawn truly enjoys the life of an expatriot and performer, and all the challenges and triumphs that come with it.

     

     

    John Andrew

    John Andrew has been performing since the age of twelve. He grew up near Tampa, FL and received a degree in musical theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University where he was named the Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Theatre and the School of Communication and Media. He has since studied many forms of performing arts including contemporary and ballroom dance, puppetry, and stage combat. John has toured as an entertainer to over thirty countries for the Walt Disney Company, Feld Entertainment, and Princess Cruiselines. He has also performed in regional theaters in Tennessee and Florida. John can be recognized from his various television and commercial appearances including promotions for the opening of the new Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, FL. After serving as the creative director for Central Florida Community Arts, John moved to Atlanta where he currently works in TV and film, both in front of and behind the camera. John is represented through Premier Models and Talent and Avery Sisters Entertainment.

    Dr. Ian Gindes

    Classical Pianist, Professor.

    Born and raised in Southern California, Ian Gindes' talent was first recognized by his father, Andrew, who had as a young man studied piano with Ania Dorfmann and Michel Piastro. Nurturing his son's talent, he encouraged Ian to study with Bonnie Farrer, who worked with the late Rosina Lhévinne. Under Ms. Farrer’s tutelage, Ian’s performances of Chopin’s works attracted hundreds. He later studied piano performance with Errol Haun and Ian Hobson, earning both a Master’s of Music at the University of Northern Colorado and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinois.

    Gindes has received many honors and awards for his contributions as a performing artist. These include a CD collection in his name at the University of Colorado at Boulder Library, which is one of the most extensive compendia of piano recordings in the United States, and a 2004 performance for the American Liszt Society Symposium. He is a 2011 first prize winner of the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition, for which he was honored with his Weill Recital Hall debut at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. In 2014, he returned to New York for the Alexander & Buono Festival of Music and performed at historic Steinway Hall.

    In 2016, Ian released his new album, American Visions, celebrating American classical composers from the 20th Century to today. Described as “…a technical tour de force,” by Fanfare magazine, the album has been featured on radio stations throughout the U.S. and around the world, including American Veterans Radio, Classique One Paris, WWFM, WILL, KAHM, and Chicago's WFMT. Gindes’ work was applauded by reviewers at Fanfare magazine and in Gramophone magazine. Gindes was praised for his “keyboard brilliance.” Gindes performs to audiences across the U.S., and will return to New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2017 under DCINY productions.

    Ian also serves as a commissioned officer in the United States Army National Guard. Over the years, he has given highly publicized performances to honor and raise funds for families of soldiers and victims of terrorism and war.

    Cameron Gagne

    Cameron Gagne Kurz is an American actress, host, and coach living in Munich, Germany with her husband. Her training began at the age of six, with dance, voice, and acting lessons. Immersed in the world of performance, Cameron trained at Southern Ballet Theatre, Orlando Youth Theatre, The Orlando Shakespeare Festival’s Young Company, School of Performing Arts, culminating in the honor of honors for any 17-year-old theatre kid: being named President of her high school’s Thespian troupe. She accepted a full merit scholarship for Acting to New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, where she pursued a BFA in Acting. Her favorite professional acting credits include originating the role of “Isabella” in Orlando, Florida’s celebrated PHANTASMAGORIA performance troupe, now touring nationally, as well as the title character in FIFEEN MINUTES OF FAYE, a feature-film thatfollows a rock star back to her hometown for one defining night. Her acting experience led her to hosting, where she found success as a Narrator and leader on Ford Motor Company’s National Auto Show Team, made up of 100 hand-selected and auditioned Product Specialists. In addition to narrating for audiences of 700k people annually, Cameron was blessed with the opportunity to create and host a mini-travel webseries for Ford’s social media channels, boasting almost 200k followers. Cameron’s dance training has led her to stages across the country, the Dominican Republic, and Panama with CirqueUSA, a cirque-style collective performing world-class corporate entertainment and touring shows. She has also modeled extensively, on the covers of BRINK Magazine, Drink! Magazine, and Rangefinder Magazine, among others, as well as numerous runway shows, and an international contract in Shanghai, China, with Ling Vision Agency and BMG Model and Talent. Cameron has been coaching acting for the last four years with Premiere Program in Orlando, Florida, where she prepares students ages 4-18 for high-stakes auditions with a sampling of the country’s best agencies and casting directors. She is passionate about equipping students with both the technical skill, and the emotional relaxation and confidence to excel in their careers and passionately pursue their dreams.

    Justin Aldridge

    Justin Aldridge grew up in New Orleans acting all the time, but retired after his performance in Grease in the 6th grade to pursue a silly baseball career. However, after several years in professional baseball he realized there was something missing in his life, mainly his ACL and other crucial ligaments in his knee and ankle. With nothing else to do, he ventured to Northern California where he fought wildfires for the US Forestry Service. After a very busy summer, he accidentally stumbled upon a new career as an actor and came out of retirement. Since that time, Justin has become a full time professional actor. He has been in several national commercials, tv shows, and films; regularly performs long form and short form improv; is an Equity actor at Walt Disney World as a Jedi Master in the Jedi Training Academy; and travels the country speaking to schools, churches and youth groups. Justin has certainly not taken a traditional path on the way to his acting career, but his unique journey has provided him with a wealth of experience to draw on. There is nothing he is more passionate about than telling compelling stories and bringing characters to life.
